Construction Update – May We would like to share a brief update on the progress of works currently taking place at Somerleyton Road Phase One and thank you for your continued patience and support.

What we’ve completed this month
• The demolition of the north elevation brick wall has been successfully completed without any issues.
• Tree pruning works along the railway side (west elevation) have also been completed, in coordination with 
Network Rail to ensure safe working practices.
• Site clearance is now complete.
• We are currently progressing with the removal of the concrete slab, which remains on track for completion by the end of May 2026.

We are aware that slab removal has generated increased noise levels during this period, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding while these essential works are carried out.

What’s happening next 
During June, site activity will reduce slightly as we transition into the next phase of works.Works will focus on ground preparation, including:
• Reduced excavation
• Installation of a pile mat

These activities will prepare the site for piling works, which will begin in the following stage.
