A Meet the Developer event was held to give local residents the opportunity to drop in, meet the site team, and learn more about the project. The session provided an open and informal environment where residents could ask questions, raise any concerns, and discuss the planned works directly with the project team.
Brixton: Work to start on new social and affordable homes
Work is starting on 378 new homes, of which 56% will be social and affordable housing, located on Somerleyton Road in Central Brixton. The development, situated on council-owned land that was previously under-utilised, will also incorporate a community gym, extra care homes, new community and commercial spaces and significant improvements to the public areas along the street.
