Inspiring Professionalism for Future Success

Our team attended a ‘Being a Professional’ session with Construction Youth Trust at Oasis Academy. This session helped students to explore the qualities and behaviours that contribute to success in education and employment. There was a focus on key attributes such as responsibility, communication, reliability and maintaining a positive attitude, encouraging students to consider how these skills can support their future career aspirations.

Helping Residents Save Energy and Reduce Household Bills

Our qualified Energy Awareness level 3 champion and wider team delivered an Energy Cafe event designed to help Lambeth residents better understand their energy usage and identify practical ways to reduce household electricity costs. Community members were given information to help make informed decisions about managing their energy consumption.

Helping Students Build Stronger Job Applications

Our team attended a cover letter support session alongside Construction Youth Trust, helping students to create professional cover letters to complement their CVs and strengthen their job applications. The session focused on identifying career aspirations and tailoring cover letters to meet the requirements of specific roles.

2026 Women in Construction Event

Our team attended the 2026 Women in Construction event at Lambeth Town Hall, which brought together industry professionals, local organisations and residents to discuss the importance of increasing female representation within the construction industry. The event provided an opportunity to hear from a range of speakers and panel members who shared their experiences and perspectives on creating a more inclusive industry.

Lambeth Meet the Buyer Event

Our team attended the Lambeth Meet the Buyer event, which brought together local businesses, suppliers and organisations including Lambeth Council. The event was designed to strengthen connections between buyers and local enterprises while creating opportunities for future collaboration.

Volunteering at Earls Court Skills Centre

Our team volunteered at Earls Court Skills Centre to support individuals taking part in the People with Convictions Programme. Participants took part in mock interviews, answering interview style questions and receiving tailored feedback to help them prepare for future employment opportunities and understand their next steps.
